March 2023 Archive – What We Shared This Month
Welcome to the March 2023 archive for Woodbridge Golf Academy. Here you’ll find everything we posted during the month – from quick swing drills to news about local tournaments. If you missed a post, this page is your shortcut to catch up.
Coaching Highlights from March
Our coaches rolled out a series of bite‑size lessons aimed at improving your short game. One popular video broke down the “downgrade” technique for better distance control on putts under 10 feet. Another article explained how to feel the clubhead during a fade, using simple drills you can try on the driving range right after work.
We also answered a handful of reader questions. A beginner asked how to stop the ball from slicing on the fairway, and we shared a three‑step fix: grip check, stance adjustment, and a smooth tempo drill. The response was upbeat, and many members reported a noticeable reduction in slice after a week of practice.
Events and Facility News
March was busy on the competition front. The club hosted the Suffolk Junior Open, drawing players from across the region. The event featured a 9‑hole scramble, and the winners earned a free month of private lessons. Photos and leaderboard highlights are all stored in this archive for you to browse.
We also unveiled a new swing analysis suite equipped with high‑speed cameras. The upgrade lets members get instant video feedback, making it easier to spot tiny flaws that affect ball flight. A brief post walked you through how to book a session and what to expect during the analysis.
Finally, we rolled out a seasonal membership promotion. Sign up before the end of April and receive a complimentary fitness assessment tailored to golfers. The promotion details, including pricing and expiry dates, are included in the March newsletter archived here.
Even if you aren’t looking for a specific post, scrolling through this archive gives you a snapshot of what life at Woodbridge Golf Academy looked like in March. You’ll see the mix of practical advice, community events, and facility upgrades that keep our members improving and having fun.
